Meetings fall. Move and rotate them to fit your day, same as you'd expect. Complete a full row and that time slot clears β you get a sliver of Focus Time back for it.
Focus Time drains on its own as the day goes on, and drains harder every time a meeting lands. Hit zero, or let your calendar stack right up to the top, and the day's over.
Every so often your Calendar Assistant "helpfully" drops something in for you, whether you had space or not. You cannot stop this. Nobody can.
Watch for "This Could Have Been An Email" β it's oversized, it will not rotate, and it will not apologise for either. Clearing a row it's part of barely counts, for what should be obvious reasons.
Not every meeting behaves the same once it lands. A π€ 1:1 costs the usual amount but gives a little extra Focus Time back when its slot clears β it was actually worth having. A π’ All-Hands costs more than most on landing, because it always does. A π Reschedule has a real chance of spawning straight into another Reschedule the moment it lands, because that's genuinely how they work. They're weighted to match: 1:1s and Status Updates fill most of your day, All-Hands are rarer but hit harder when they show up.
Doing well is not entirely safe here. Clear rows too quickly back-to-back and someone notices you have capacity β your Calendar Assistant gets more aggressive for a while. Land an especially good clear and you might get "rewarded" with exactly the piece you didn't want next.
Pace has no ceiling. It keeps climbing the whole time you survive, meetings keep falling faster, Focus Time drains harder, and your Calendar Assistant stops waiting as long between "favours." A clear at level 30 is worth vastly more than the same clear at level 1 β the score only really starts to matter once things get properly unreasonable.
